Dune Lake Early Morning Sky

On Saturday October 13th 2012 at Grayton Beach view artists painting the outdoors. Dune lakes are unique because they are a permanent body of water found in the coastal areas of Northwest Florida. A dune lake contains a mixture of fresh water and salt water from the gulf.    

Colors of Summer

   Summer is leaving but the colors of the gulf remain. A reminder of how wonderful it is to live on the gulf coast.

On top of the Indian temple mound

The sound of leaves

Falling to the ground

Quietly an artist paints

Unseen by those around

Cool Breeze

   Wind swept clouds

   Wild flowers in the sand

   Waves crashing

   Feel the breeze against your skin

   Clouds to shade

   From the heat of day

   And  Water

   To keep you cool

A Safe Harbor

   Warm is the morning

   Dark skies over-head

   Cool breeze quite nice 

   Will the clouds break

   To blue skies ahead

   Positive is the spice

   You sprinkle on life

   When uncertainty looms
